Are you installing brand new Office 365 or 2015/16 and during or after finished installation you are getting this anoying message:
"The application was unable to start correctly ( 0xc0000142 ) Click OK to close the application"
Don't panic. Solution is usually very simple - you can make it complicated and try to find your answer in registries ( manual check for previous Office installation leftovers) or you can just use very simple operation - FIXIT tool from Microsoft official site.
This little tool will find, mark and fix all " leftovers" in your system and in 90% solve your problem.
